Welcome to the Swannington History Project
Swannington Heritage Trust welcomes you to our Swannington History website that has been developed for our Swannington Before The War project. The project gives details of life in Swannington during the period just before the First World War, plus changes that have taken place since that time.

The Trust’s main website continues to provide fascinating insights of Swannington’s history and the five historic sites managed by the Trust: Hough Mill, Gorse Field, Califat Spinney, Swannington Incline and former Snibston No 3 coal mine.
